Founded and built in 1999 by Russ Walker, Alaska Timberframe is a small shop focused on providing the ultimate in quality and service. We offer custom design and build services to develop a home that fits your lifestyle and dreams. If you choose, we will work with an architect of your choice. Sammy Walker, owner and timberframer, oversees all aspects of your home's design and construction, from the initial concept development through milling, joinery, raising and enclosing.

We are located in Homer, Alaska at the southern end of the Kenai Peninsula. We invite prospective clients to visit us, meet the craftsmen and see how a timber frame takes shape. We can take you on a tour of timber frames that we have completed locally, or you may want to visit some of the homes that we have constructed throughout Alaska.
